Texas is home to a diverse population of approximately 29.7 million people, with major cities including Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, and Austin. The largest racial groups in Texas are White, Hispanic, Black, Asian, Native American, and other races. Their population was 29,743,744 at the 2020 census.

Culture:

With its diverse population, Texas has a rich cultural scene.. The state is well-known for its music, with genres such as country and Tejano being produced. The state also hosts various festivals, including the well-known South by Southwest and Austin City Limits Music Festival. The Texas Film Hall of Fame also recognizes notable achievements in the film industry.

Esteemed for its wide open spaces, beautiful landscapes, and cowboy culture, Texas offers an abundance of things to do. Visit Mount Bonnell, which boasts a height of 775 feet above sea level, making it one of the highest points in the state. History:

In 1845, Texas became the 28th state to join the union. During the American Civil War, Texas seceded from the Union and joined the Confederate States of America. After the end of the Civil War in 1865, Texas was occupied by federal troops. In 1901, oil was discovered in Texas, which led to a boom in the economy. During World War II, Texas played an important role in the war effort. Today, Texas is known as the 'Lone Star State' and is home to a diverse population.
